THE CHURCH FESTIVAL

By the way, did I tell you that the Penthouse Players are going to be doing an Edward Albee Festival at the church this spring?  Call now to get the best-priced tickets for this unique theatre experience.  We have a couple of surprise guest actors coming in from Los Angeles to join us in performing some of Albee’s most well-known one-act plays.  You won’t want to miss it.  I’m going to be in it, too, well, at least one of them.  I’m hoping it’s the one with Edward Norton in it—whoops, I just gave one of the surprises away!  Sorry about that.  Now you know, Becky is really excited about this show, because lately she’s been doing nothing but Restoration comedy at the Victorian Playhouse.  She’s getting a little sick of it, frankly, and when you get the opportunity to perform in scenes with the likes of Sada Thomps—oh, no, I almost told you one of the other surprise players!  I’m really spoiling the secret for you, aren’t I!!!  I’d better be careful not to mention any more names, because there are two more special guests we’re going to have in this festival, and—well, get the seats now, and you’ll find out soon enough!  Be sure not to miss Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf, with our very own Demetra Passapotatios, the incredible Keith Jajzinski, and as Nick, hold on to your seats—the part of Nick is being played by George Clooney himself—oh, drat.  I did it again.  What will they do with me???
