I'm so glad we decided to get Brinks home security. I just feel really good about having it. My husband thought we could get by without anything because it's a relatively quiet neighborhood but we're still new to the area. I don't want to take any chances. Eventually he finally just agreed with me. Even though it is a very quaint town and everyone seems nice we still don't know the residents very well. But we're working to fix that. Today I actually brought over a peach pie for my neighbors and met them for the first time! Of course they loved that I did that. I was feeling a bit old-fashioned. I thought it would be fun. I mean, I never really see people going door-to-door handing out pies anymore. Maybe I'll start some new tradition in the area. I would love it if someone brought me something like that! In fact there's an elderly lady who lives on the corner block near our house. The rumor has it that she used to own a bakery in the area and she makes the best stuff. Maybe I'll pay her a visit next! With any luck she'll invite me in for some tea and dessert!
