When Sara called us we knew she was in trouble.  She needed to find a personal injury attorney in New York.  We didn't know where to start.  Of course we don't live there, so it makes finding a lawyer a bit more difficult, but not impossible.  I have a lot of contacts in New York, and I called around to a few.  I found that they had little experience with that type of lawyer.  This meant going online and looking, and all the web sites looked the same.  I went to the bar association page and looked there.  I thought I'll just have to sit down and start calling.  Sara was our main concern.  She was injured, and we knew we would have to get to New York as soon as possible.  We checked into flights and found one leaving that evening.  All that was available. was first class, and we didn't have enough mileage points for both of us.  Jan decided to go.  I would stay home and continue to look into lawyers.  I did. I drove Jan to the airport, though.  The flight was delayed.  No surprise here.  We talked about an hour later, and she was just boarding.
