I have been working here at Target for almost a month now. The job has usually been fairly easy and simple. Most of the employees are high school kids that are my age. We don’t all go to the same school, but we usually all get along pretty well. One of the reasons why this job is so easy is because we all help each other out all the time. About half of the people that I used to work with were replaced with temporary staffing recently. Most of the people that worked with me in the electronics department all got sick with something that is obviously contagious and have not been at work in a few weeks. I don’t know how, but a few other employees and I managed not to catch whatever has been going around even though we all work in the same place and communicate with each other all the time. I guess that we have a built in immunity to whatever our co-workers are sick with or something of the sort. I hope that the old employees come back soon. The temporary staffing that Target hired are very unreliable. Also, none of them are our age, so we don’t have much to talk about.
