Next time I go home to visit my family in the Midwest I’m going to try to take some time to get event tickets to the racetrack. It would be interesting to try sports betting out and see how it works. I have never bet on any kind of sports, but horse race betting is a very popular thing and it would definitely be a good place to start. It would also be fun to go to a race track and check out the horses; maybe pretend to be one of those fancy ladies who go to the races all dressed up with their enormous sun hats. Well, I probably won’t actually do it but at least it would be kind of cool if I ran into someone dressed up like that at the races. I actually have never been to any racetracks before at all, so even if I wound up placing any bet it would be fun to sit there and watch all those lovely horses. It would be really interesting to see the award ceremony at the end of the race. I would actually love to go to the Kentucky Derby and have that be my first horse race experience.
