Today I went to the box office and picked up the event tickets for New Years Eve.  It was a bit more of a hassle to go all the way down to the city to get them, but it was worth it.  If I were to order them from Ticket Master it would have been almost twenty dollars more!  I guess that’s how they make their money.  If you ask me, paying that much more for a ticket is ludicrous.  I am really excited for the concert though.  The band plays in Chicago every year for New Years, and it’s always a blast.  They usually play three sets of music and add a horns section.  The band also usually plays some incredible covers.  This year the show is at the Aragon Ballroom.  Every band ever has played the Aragon at one point in their careers.  I read somewhere that it is one of Ween’s favorite venues to play.  I read in one of the band member’s blogs that there are passages under the building that Al Capone used to use.  That not only makes it a great place to see music, but an incredible piece of Chicago history.  Can’t wait until the big night!
